"Colored Papers" is a critical, personal project developed during my time in London, serving as an intensive exploration of materiality in illustration and the metaphor of 'Color' in a global context. The project deliberately uses printmaking as a medium for self-exploration and the construction of an identity narrative as a Taiwanese immigrant. The core of the project is a rigorous printing experiment: each illustration, depicting different personal or special occasions, was printed exclusively in black and white onto a variety of pre-colored paper stocks.

The work was exhibited and sold at significant public events, notably the Mercado de Usera in Madrid (06/25) and the SE London Pride Market in Lewisham (08/25). These exhibitions served as vital touchpoints for engaging diverse audiences, allowing for direct discussion of the "colored experience" and themes of identity, immigration, and cultural visibility. This process successfully contextualized the work outside of a private setting, transforming the illustrations from a personal exploration into a catalyst for social and cultural discourse.
